Ola has been playing football since she was 2 years old. In the Gambia, support for playing football is extremely limited. A lack of funding, combined with the social expectations of becoming a family caregiver, makes Ola’s ambition of making a sustainable living from being a professional footballer incredibly challenging.

In this short film, Ola shares with us her ambition, her daily routine, and her focus on becoming a professional football player.
